Currently...

A little under a year ago I began connecting with you my community through the writing of these emails and sharing space physically together. Over those months came story after story of community members wanting to embody ways of living that truly connect with their being. The search for purpose as a family member, a friend, or simply becoming aware of oneself is a life long journey. The journey for ways to create a life that invites progress for us all is a calling. As humans this calling for the individual ultimately propels all of humanity forward. The great unveiling that we are witnessing right now. For many of us these past few months have been a time to finally learn what was always true to begin with. The truth has always been here. 

The truth is we are not separate.

As this past season came to a close I and I imagine you too have been invited over and over again to stop and sit with all that has been felt, seen, heard and been experienced during this time and throughout our collective consciousness. Something we are all feeling. These several weeks have had us all looking hard at the corrosive behaviors we are implicitly apart of that erode at the pathways to and from the heart of the human experience. Connections that we deeply need to see and change in order to create better connection to our own hearts and as a whole. Living in a more just community of people calls for the uprising and uprooting from the stories and systems that have bound us all in a perpetual state of status quo based upon foundations of greed and the idea of fairness. Unfortunately within this system fairness is not a real thing and neither in fact is money. Our current society has chosen both constructs without embodying what it means to make both real for everyone. We have and continue to bypass just by the shear fact that we leave others behind. The others within our own society. The beliefs we have been sold and continue to buy with these ideas are presently damaging to ourselves and to others. Why? Because they have inbuilt separateness. These old ideas of fairness and how we have manifested money into greed set us apart from each other more than bring us together. What happens if we imagine something different? Ideas and currencies that bring us together and uplift us all better than what we have yet to see?

As someone who has and continues to benefit greatly from these past ideologies I can say that yes they have fulfilled me and given me more than I could ever have asked for and still I can see that at the cost of seeing others suffer based only upon separateness I seek change. I believe many of the things that needs changing require yes/and answers not either/or. This only continues to ring true as days, weeks and years pass. How do we make systemic change and yes keep pieces of it that inherently are proven agents of process? How do we change our behaviors and yes not completely loosing who we are? I by no means have answers to these questions. I have been seeking them for as long as I can remember. My desire is to move forward and create this next world for all of us. Together.
